A Chaat in the Park
A man, a woman, an arranged date. Can the tradition they once shunned provide them with the perfect partner? A Chaat in the Park stars Laila Rouass (Footballers Wives) and Navin Chowdhury (C4's Teachers) and was commissioned by the UK Film Council.
The film premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival in 2007 and has also been screened at Clermont Ferrand International Festival (France), Uppsala International Festival (Sweden), and the 10th Belo Horizonte Festival (Brazil).
Coconut
Coconut won an award for best 'Live Action (Non-Dialogue)' film. The short serves as a metaphor for the human impact on the environment - but what happens when nature strikes back.
Recently requested by San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival and Northern Ireland’s International Film Festival for Young People. Coconut aired on Australia's ABC television and screened at festivals including: Mayhem Film Festival, Super Shorts, London Short Film Festival, Houston Film Festival and Australian Portable Film Festival.
